Further Information | ||
It is a modern stone house with a newly designed garden and swimming pool. Everything has been replanted, including several olive trees, oleanders and many Mediterranean shrubs and herbs. When furnishing the house and garden, we strive on the one hand to fulfill all of our guests’ wishes, on the other hand to include ecological aspects and to make a contribution to sustainable tourism. For this reason, we would like to point out the excellent drinking quality of the tap water. This avoids unnecessary accumulation of PET bottles. In Croatia there is a deposit system on PET bottles and on some glass bottles (e.g. wine bottles), but returns usually do not work as smoothly as we know in Germany. Many supermarkets do not accept empty bottles or only do so at certain times. In addition to the residual waste bins, we have provided three additional bins for waste separation: glass (green), paper (blue) and plastic (yellow). To regulate the climate in the house, we recommend keeping doors and windows closed on hot days. We ask our guests to make sure to keep windows and doors closed when using the air conditioning. We welcome feedback from our guests and expressly ask for suggestions and requests of any kind! It is important to us that our guests feel comfortable in Villa Krostula and that they enjoy their vacation in beautiful Istria to the fullest! | ||
